At ʻAkahiao Nature Institute we seek to integrate nature in all aspects of our programming. ʻIke Loa is an immersive day program that is based on cultivating a sense of place and a sense of oneself. We'll explore the natural wonders of the landscape and navigate our relationship to the ʻāina. Food is an important component of our programs and lunch will be provided. The program will be split into two cohorts: ʻAkahi (ages 8-10) and Kukui (ages 11-13).

 

We will spend most of our time outdoors, engaging in land exploration, fun in the sun  and nature inspired art projects.
