In Hawaiian culture young keiki were sometimes referred to as liko, the budding leaves of the ʻōhiʻa tree. At this stage in their life they are soaking up the world around them.
This program is specifically designed to foster their creativity, joy, and curiosity. Allowing them to engage their sense of wonder, expand their self-awareness and independence.
Spending time outdoors is essential to the development of a child. Over the course of the 4-days we will be actively exploring the landscape of Huʻehuʻe while engaging in fun-filled outdoor activities.
