Heathwood - Rustic Pathways 2020

Updated: Dec 29, 2020

At the very beginning of March, we hosted a group of 14 high school students from Heathwood, North Carolina. They came as a part of our partnership with Rustic Pathways, a global organization specializing in socially responsible travel around the world. We barely escaped the COVID lockdown when they arrived - this was when many of their trips in Europe were being cancelled.

The students enjoyed full course meals using produce harvested from our gardens. The Hawaii trips are apparently known for serving the best food at Rustic Pathways, something we are rather proud to be known for.

Coming from North Carolina, they especially enjoyed learning about our culture and how we relate to the ʻāina here in Kona.
